Gastroenterologist

Zane Gallinger Dr. Zane Gallinger is an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He completed his gastroenterology residency at the University of Toronto and an advanced IBD fellowship in New York City at Mount Sinai Hospital through the Icahn School of Medicine. He also completed his Master’s of Science in Health Education at McMaster University. He has authored over 20 peer reviewed articles and has presented at many international conferences. His research interests include investigating delay in diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease, with the hope of determining factors which contribute to IBD morbidity. Recently, he has developed a curriculum for advanced IBD fellowships in both the United States and Canada. He is passionate about teaching trainees. He was recently appointed as the educational site director at Mount Sinai Hospital, with responsibility for the learning experience of all GIM and GI residents and fellows that rotate at Mount Sinai Hospital.
