  • This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), approved by Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. The event has been awarded with 7.0 Section 1 hours.

  • The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized the Mount Sinai Hospital – Zane Cohen Centre for Digestive Diseases to offer up to 0.65 CEUs or 6.5 Category 1 contact hours for the event Hereditary Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium 2017. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.

    All individuals attending the Symposium who would like to claim Category 1 CEUs are required to pay a CAD $35 CEU fee. This fee is payable in advance of the conference online using the following link: https://ddcrc.mshri.on.ca/NoviSurvey/n/CEUreg.aspx   Alternatively, individuals can bring cash or a cheque addressed to Zane Cohen Centre – Mount Sinai Hospital in the amount of $35. Self-report forms will be supplied by conference organizers, to be completed on the day of the conference.

  • This conference has been approved by the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CAGC) for 6.75 CECs.
