Canadian Colorectal Cancer Consortium (C4)

The C4 is a Terry Fox Research Institute funded study taking place at multiple sites across Canada. The C4 is trying to understand how colorectal cancer impacts patients and their families. We hope to understand how colorectal cancer can be passed down in families and to improve colorectal cancer screening for families across Canada.

You are eligible to participate in this study because you have a family member who has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. No matter where you live, you can take part in this study.

What does participation involve?

  • You will speak to a study coordinator over the telephone
  • You will be asked to sign a consent form and fill out a short questionnaire
  • You may be asked to provide a blood or saliva sample
  • You will receive personalized colonoscopy recommendations
  • We will ask your permission to collect any medical records about any previous cancer diagnoses or colorectal cancer screening.

If you are interested in participating, please contact us directly:
